The building is nearly 400 years old and has listed status.
The irregular layout and narrow front door frame, which is reached via a small step from the pavement, can make it difficult for anyone with additional mobility requirements or wheel chair users to use with ease.
The doorway measures 61cm, that’s 24 inches or 2 ft wide at its narrowest point and unfortunately a standard sized wheelchair will NOT fit through the door.
Our team are always happy to assist guests to access the shop but we need to make you aware that we do NOT have an accessible/disabled toilet due to the constraints of the building.

The front door is quite narrow measuring 61cm, that’s 2 ft or 24 inches at its narrowest.
We welcome families with prams and pushchairs but it can be difficult to accommodate multiple prams and sometimes the larger styles of prams and buggies due to the irregular shape of the walls and the layout of the coffee shop.
Please ask a Team member for assistance on arrival.

We take Food Safety very seriously.
We encourage you to ask a staff member to advise or check on ingredients at the time of ordering if you are in any doubt.

Yes we have a children’s menu for our younger guests and two highchairs.
Dogs and animals are not permitted inside unless they are a guide dog or service dog.

Sadly we do not have a garden or outside seating area.
The coffee shop is open seven days a week but we do offer the option to hire it for small private events on Sunday afternoons from 3pm onwards or on weekday evenings.
The maximum number of people we can accommodate seated is 32.

We are always happy to hear from anyone who thinks they have the catering or waiting skills and experience to join the Squires’ family.
Please ask to speak to Carl or Di next time you visit.
You can pop a printed CV in by hand or keep an eye on our coffee shop window as we always advertise job vacancies there.
