Our story…

Since our very first day of trading back in June 1996, Squires Coffee Shop has grown to become an integral part of the hustle and bustle of Rayleigh High Street shops and the wider community.

Over the years, we have loved meeting and getting to know our customers with many becoming long-standing regulars and even Team members too. We love the fact they in turn have inspired some of their family members to also become part of the Squires’ Family.

The Oldest Tea & Coffee Shop in Rayleigh

Our pretty listed building is between 300 and 400 years old and is one of the few original surviving properties in the town. The black beams and wonky walls all add to the sense of history and charm and we are proud to be the longest trading tea and coffee shop in Rayleigh.
